Disabled American Veterans, also known as DAV, meets in Elizabethtown every Tuesday at 7 pm at the VFW Building on Hill Street.  Commander, David Brown wants to encourage all disabled veterans to attend the next meeting on Tuesday, July 14 to meet the DAV State Commander, Gregory Alan Keesee.
Brown’s goal is to make the Elizabethtown a Chartered DAV with at least 50 members. “The DAV does a lot for disabled veterans. We help file claims, help network for veterans benefits and a lot more.” Brown said. He continued, “At our September 16th, meeting we will have the National Service Officer at our meeting to help walk veterans through their claims process.”

All disabled veterans are invited to attend the  DAV meetings. If you know a disabled veteran let them know about the benefits of attending the DAV meetings and encourage them to attend.
The Elizabethtown DAV meetings are every Tuesday, at 109 Hill Street in Elizabethtown, starting at 7 pm.
