District Attorney Jon David was sworn into office as District Attorney for Bladen, Brunswick and Columbus Counties for another four year term. Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Douglas Sasser administered the oath during a private ceremony held on January 4, 2015, in Delco, NC. Mr. David is seen in the photograph with Judge Sasser, and they are joined by Jon’s wife, Amy, and children, Tyson and Gia.
Following Mr. David taking the oath of office, Judge Sasser administered an oath to the entire staff of the District Attorney’s Office. Mr. David thanked his family, friends and supporters for their assistance during the recent election. Mr. David emphasized that he is humbled by the trust and confidence that the citizens of the 13th District have placed in him. “The past four years in office have been a humbling and wonderful experience for me personally and professionally. I am confident that the changes we have put in place are producing effective results. We look forward to continuing to serve our community by working closely with law enforcement and remaining a strong voice for victims.”
