If you have not yet dropped off your toys for the Bladen County 4-H Toy Drive there is still time. The  Bladen County 4-H Toy Drive to collect toys to donate to the Bladen County Department of Social Services foster children has been extended until noon on Friday, December 11, according to Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Director Stacie Kinlaw.

According to Kinlaw, last year’s toy drive collected 70 items and the this year the goal is to collect even more.

The toys should be new and unwrapped and can be dropped off at the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Office located at 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. The toys should be age appropriate for ages 1 to 18 years of age.

If you are not sure what to purchase, toy ideas include dolls, action figures, remote control cars, footballs, soccer balls, craft sets, music players, jewelry sets, dress up sets, and Legos.

For questions regarding the toy drive or 4-H programs, contact Kinlaw at 910.862.4591.
