Elizabethtown, NC – A heartwarming effort is underway as local organizations and residents rally together to support the most vulnerable members of the community—infants and toddlers in the care of the Department of Social Services (DSS). The annual Diaper Drive, organized by Bladen County Health and Human Services, is in full swing, with the goal of collecting thousands of diapers and wipes to assist foster families and children in need.

Diapers are an essential yet often overlooked necessity for families facing financial hardship. For foster parents and caregivers supported by DSS, the costs can quickly add up. The Diaper Drive aims to bridge this gap and provide much-needed relief, ensuring that every child has access to clean, dry diapers.
This initiative is about more than just diapers; it’s about dignity, comfort, and care for children who deserve the best start in life. A simple donation can make an enormous difference for a family struggling to provide basic essentials.
The drive will run through March 7th, with donation drop-off locations set up at Bladen County DSS Lobby, 208 E. McKay Street, Elizabethtown, NC. Community members can contribute by donating diapers of all sizes, baby wipes, and monetary funds, which will be used to purchase additional supplies.
Anyone interested in donating or volunteering can visit [Website or Contact Information] for more details. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ensure that children in DSS care have a healthier, happier start in life.
