A 7-run, 5th inning rally propelled the GreenJackets to a 12-6 Dixie Boys Baseball victory over the BlueClaws at County Park.

Davion Lewis, Darius Williamson and Colton Daly smacked back-to-back-to-back run-scoring singles during the winning rally. Torrean Cogdell belted a 2-run single, and Claxton Tatum smashed a 2-run double that vaulted the Greenjackets in front.

Williamson batted 2-for-2 with a run batted in and 2 runs scored. Tatum walloped a triple and a double and drove in 2 runs. Cogdell, Lewis, Daly, Isaiah Lee and Josh Dawson slammed 1 hit each.

Cogdell and Daly drove in 2 runs each, and Lewis and Dawson had 1 RBI each. Cogdell and Coley Sasser scored 2 runs each, and Lewis, Daly, Lee and Dawson scored 1 run each.

Hunter Hester batted 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI to lead the BlueClaw hitters. Chason Harris hammered a double. Connor Smith and Kewone Maynor swatted 1 hit each. Maynor scored 2 runs, and Jonah Bryan, Smith, Tredon Scott, and Justin Spaulding scored 1 run each. Smith, Spaulding and Gavin Elks had 1 RBI each.

The GreenJackets improved to 3-1 with the victory, while the BlueClaws dropped to 2-1 and will play the RedBirds Friday night. The GreenJackets will play the RedBirds Monday.
