Dixie Youth BaseballThree Bladen All-Star teams begin play in District Tournaments Saturday, while the Elizabethtown AAA (Minors) All-Stars play their second game in the District 9 Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament at Red Springs.

Coach Kevin Dunham’s Elizabethtown team blasted Red Springs 18-2 Friday night and will play West Robeson American – a 10-5 winner over Fairmont – Saturday at 2 p.m.

Coach Grant Pait’s Elizabethtown Majors All-Stars begin play in the District 9 Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament at Red Springs Saturday at 1 p.m. against the host Red Springs team.

Coach Joseph Russ’ Bladen County AAA (Minors) All-Stars open play in the District 2 Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament at Tabor City Saturday night at 8 p.m. against Nakina.

Coach Smiley Butler’s Elizabethtown AAA (Minors) Supplemental All-Stars play their first game in the District 2 Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament at Tabor City Saturday night at 7 p.m. against Whiteville.
