For one family returning home was an easy decision to make. Do Right Carpet and Flooring celebrated their Grand Opening on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting and refreshments.
Jeff Pope and his wife, Chris, owned and operated a store in Clinton for a number of years before deciding it was time to return to Bladen County. Jeff Pope grew up in Bladen County and operated the glass bottomed boat that once plied the waters of White Lake.
On Tuesday, the couple was excited to be cutting the ribbon on the new store in Elizabethtown.
“We thank you so much for deciding to locate here,” said Elizabethtown Mayor Sylvia Campbell.
Maurice Williams, President of the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the new owners as well.
Jeff Pope said the store will offer carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl plates, tile flooring and more.
“Anything to do with flooring, we can do it,” Jeff Pope stated.
He said the store can also install your new floor, as well.
The store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The store is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. For more information, call the store at 910-862-3728.
