Alston Freeman of the Elizabethtown Fire Department gave a Fire prevention demonstration Thursday morning for Dr. Douglas Gensel and his staff at the Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Gensel had requested the demonstration for his staff at the US Hwy. 701 South location about a week ago. Firefighter Freeman acquired the BULL-EX DIGITAL SAFTY PROP from Bladen Community College earlier this week allowing him to hold the class indoors with life like effects. He covered A,B, and C class fires and their differences, Fire extinguisher types and proper use.Â
The staff at The Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital really enjoyed this opportunity to learn a little about fire safety and the Elizabethtown Fire Department was happy to help.Â
