Life is full of adventures and opportunities. Dr. Sara Galloway Lennon from Bladenboro is living proof of this as her life illustrates. Not only is Lennon a wife, mother, grandmother, and guidance counselor, but she is a story-teller and an author as well.

Dr. Lennon married Gregory Lennon of Bladenboro where they raised their three sons Lawrence, Forrest, and Chandler. They are the grandparent to one grandson, Brody.

If Dr. Lennon was not busy enough with her family, her career as a guidance counselor in Robeson County, her part-time job at Belks in Whiteville, she has completed her new book “A Class of Colors”.

With a passion and enthusiasm for working with young children from high poverty and diversified backgrounds Dr. Lennon created a book to help explain different personalities. The book is a cheerful and entertaining story that will inspire all who read it according to Page Publishing.

She has based her studies on the effects of poverty on students and is now considered an expert in this field. She has served as a school guidance counselor for fourteen years and has led numerous trainings and workshops.

Dr. Lennon grew up on the shore of beautiful Lake Waccamaw, while being exposed to the Native American culture and the value of hard farm life, which led her to share the values of folklore and old proverbs.

Lennon’s inspiring tale engages children’s imaginations to the mysteries of life and its valuable lessons according to her publisher.

When the bright yellow sun becomes bored with his daily view of the green and blue Earth, he strikes a deal with his old friend, the wind, to bring more colors for him to see. However, the wind warns the sun that every color’s personality and behavior is different and can be difficult to deal with, stating the adage “Pretty is as pretty does.”

This proves to be true. Together, the sun and water team up in order to shape and train the behaviors of the colors. They begin to play off the strength and weakness of each color to make a prefect compliment, thus creating a beautiful and grand rainbow.

Readers who wish to experience this whimsical work can purchase “A Class of Colors” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble. For additional information or media inquiries, contact Page Publishing at 866-315-2708.
