Drill Team Earned 1st Place

Drill teamOn 28 Feb 2015 The Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy’s drill team the, John L. Foye Rifles, competed at the North Brunswick High School Tri-Meet.   The Tri-Meet consisted of a Raider competition, Rifle Team Match and Drill Competition.  The drill meet was composed of fifteen schools from all over North Carolina.   This was the first time the JLF Rifles competed in a competition. The team competed in Regulation Squad Unarmed commanded by C/SSG Chasity Baxley of White Oak, Regulation Squad Armed commanded by C/SSG Iyanna McAllister of Elizabethtown, and Armed Exhibition Duet commanded by C/SSG Stanari Ballard of Elizabethtown.  The team earned a 1st place trophy in Armed Exhibition Duet. The team earned a 1st place trophy in Armed Exhibition Duet.   Their next completion will be 14 March at East Rowan High School in Salisbury, NC.
