Etown Crash S Poplar2The names of the drivers involved in a four vehicle crash near the Cape Fear River bridge last week have been released. The multi-vehicle crash ocurred on S. Poplar Street in Elizabethtown and snarled traffic in the southbound lanes on Wednesday afternoon.

The multi-vehicle crash involving a log truck, a delivery truck, a pick-up truck and a small car, resulted in a brief closure of the southbound lanes of S. Poplar Street. Luckily, no one was seriously injured in this accident. This isn’t usually the case though so if you have been in an accident involving a truck then you might want to contact someone like the Tate Law Offices.

According to Elizabethtown Police Chief Tony Parrish, the drivers were identified as follows:

**Logging Truck was operated by Driver Terry Leon Andrews Jr of Wilmington. The truck was owned by Armwood Shaw of Reigelwood and received no damage in the incident.

** The driver of the delivery truck was David Branham Dryer of Lumberton. The truck was owned by Ryder Truck Rental and received about $50,000 damage.

** The driver of a Hyundai was identified as Julie Michelle Tatum of Elizabethtown. The vehicle was owned by Cathy Dunlap Herrera of Candor and received about $15,000 damage.

** The driver of the pick-up truck was Roy Steven West of Bladenboro and the truck received about $1,500 damage.
