DUBLIN – Hunter Bailey from Bailey in Nash County posted his first Dublin win of the season Saturday night by driving his #19 car to the checkered flag in the Late Model finale at Dublin Motor Speedway.

Fayetteville’s Travis Hair finished second, and June 17th Late Model winner Daulton Wilson finished third just ahead of his brother Ethan.

Linden’s Andy Boahn drove the #66B car to his fourth straight Dublin victory in the Open Wheel Modified race. It was Boahn’s fifth Dublin win of the season. Wake Forest’s Christian Thomas claimed his second runner-up finish in the last 3 Dublin races, and Daniel Parker took third place.

Dillon’s Chris Powers (#4 car) recorded his first Dublin win of the season in the Super Street race. Myrtle Beach’s Benji Thompson, a 2-time Dublin winner in his #03 car, finished second for the third time this season at Dublin. Daniel Parker was third in the #88 car.

Dillon’s Michael Butler (#48 car) moved up to the winner’s circle after finishing second in the June 17 Pure Stock race at Dublin. Butler had also won the April 1st Pure Stock event at Dublin. Patrick Williams (#11 car) finished second, and Jesse Klass drove his #16 car to a third-place finish.

Chris Reeves (#3 car) claimed his second Dublin victory of the season in U-Cars. Clinton native Glenn Register, a 3-time winner this year at Dublin, finished second. Clinton’s Larry Eldridge (#2 car) posted his fourth third-place finish of the season at Dublin.

Wilson’s Gary Dillon drove the #14 car to victory in the Super Stock 4-Cylinder event. Norlina’s Tyler Hobgood took the runner-up spot in his #19 car, and Jason Floyd from Ash was third in his #12F car.

Mooresville’s Steve Surniak was the winner in the Carolina Sprint Car Series race. Dan Jones of Concord was second in the #8 car, and Kernersville’s Mike Leraas took third place in the #77 car.
