Dublin Motor SpeedwayMark Dean took the checkered flag ahead of John Holland on Saturday night to win the featured U-Car race and the $400 top prize at Dublin Motor Speedway.

There were only 39 cars running Saturday, including only two open wheel modifieds, in the five divisions. That resulted in qualifying and races moving quickly, and Saturday’s show completed before 11 p.m. There normally are more than 50 cars on most Saturdays.

The next racing program at Dublin Motor Speedway is schedule Saturday, Aug. 22. It will be Senior Citizen Night. The pure stock division will be the featured race.

The track will host an Ultimate Super Late Model Series race Aug. 29 that will pay $5,000 to the winner.
