The Dublin Peanut Festival (DPF) is back, and it’s gearing up for yet another successful year of fun, food, and giving back to the community. This beloved annual event is a cornerstone of the Dublin, North Carolina, community, celebrating the town’s peanut heritage while raising funds to support various charitable initiatives.

One of the highlights of the Dublin Peanut Festival’s annual fundraiser is the mouthwatering fish fry. This year’s event will take place at the charming Lu Mil Vineyard’s General Store, providing a picturesque backdrop for an evening of delicious food and camaraderie. The fish fry will take place on a date yet to be announced, so be sure to mark your calendars and get ready for a feast like no other.

Tickets for the fish fry are available for just $25, offering all-you-can-eat access to a delectable menu that includes crispy whiting, perfectly seasoned fries, refreshing slaw, golden hushpuppies, a delightful dessert, and a refreshing drink. If you’re looking for a simpler option, a hot dog meal can be enjoyed for just $5. Whether you prefer to dine in or carry out, the DPF has you covered.

Giving Back to the Community

The DPF isn’t just about delicious food and entertainment; it’s also about giving back to the community that supports it. This year, DPF Chairman Richard Sibbett announced two significant donations that exemplify the festival’s commitment to making a positive impact.

The first donation of $500.00 was presented to Megan Knight, the Director of the Mercy House, for a Hero for Life Sponsorship at their 1st Annual Spring Banquet.
