The NC Forest Service recently held a fire prevention poster contest at East Arcadia Elementary School.
“The contest was about Wildfire Prevention and they had to draw a picture as creative as they could be about ways to do this,” said Assistant County Ranger Brett Godwin.
The winner was Kenya Rhodes in Ms. Wheeler’s 4th grade class at East Arcadia Elementary School.
