After 20 rounds of fierce competition; East Arcadia School prevailed as the winner of the Bladen County Schools Middle School Battle of the Books. Each middle school was prepared and ready to battle. The books had been read, the rules had been followed and each school had done a great job preparing.
East Arcadia School will advance to the regional competition to be held at Sampson County Agri-Exposition Center on April 7, 2016.
Team members for East Arcadia School are; Sterling Thomas, Kayla Todd, Cheyanne Jacobs, Ashanti Munn-Goins, Charles Dixon, Charlene Mota-Huerta, Tamara Grissett, Cody Long and Cebree White. Coaches for the EAS BOB team are; Celeste Lennon, Wanda Daniels and Nancy Adcox. Principal of East Arcadia School is Ms. Demetrice Jones.
