East Bladen 3rd, West Bladen 5th in Final Wells Fargo Cup Standings

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association released the final standings for the 2019-2020 Wells Fargo Conference Cup for each conference across the state Wednesday. East Bladen finished third in the Three Rivers Conference final standings, and West Bladen was fifth.

Whiteville will receive the Wells Fargo Cup for 2019-20 due to winning conference titles in Girls Cross Country and Volleyball and sharing the titles in Football and Boys Basketball.

The Wolfpack totaled 62.3 points and were followed by St. Pauls with 56.8 points then East Bladen with 42.5 points. The Eagles won the Boys Soccer championship and were runners-up in Girls Basketball.

Red Springs narrowly edged out West Bladen for fourth place with 38.5 points compared to the Knights 37.6 points. West Bladen captured the Girls Tennis championship and placed third in Girls Basketball.

South Columbus was sixth with 30.5 points followed by Fairmont (28.5 points), East Columbus (20.9 points) and West Columbus (15.3 points).
