Tickets for Friday’s East Bladen at Hertford County state playoff football game are available online. Also, the game will be available for viewing on the NFHS Network. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets, which are $8 each, can be purchased with cash at the gate prior to the game or are available through GoFan by clicking here Tickets bought through GoFan must be presented using your mobile device, via the GoFan app or the gofan.co mobile site. Tickets bought through GoFan will not be able to be printed for the game.

The game may be viewed via subscription on the NFHS Network by clicking here. A monthly pass is $11.99 and can be canceled anytime. An annual pass is $79.99.

Hertford County High School is located in Ahoskie, which is about 200 miles from Elizabethtown.

East Bladen (5-5) is seeded No. 22 in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 2-A football playoffs. Hertford County (9-1) is seeded No. 11 in the East bracket. The Bears finished second in the Northeastern Coastal 3-A/2-A Conference, losing only to league titlist Elizabeth City Northeastern.

Hertford County won its first five games before losing 67-39 at home against Northeastern. The Bears won their final four contests, including Friday’s 64-57 decision against Edenton Holmes.

Quarterback Keveon Rodgers is dual threat for Hertford County. He has run for 1,174 yards on 87 carries (13.5 yards per carry) and scored 23 touchdowns and has completed 116 of 169 pass attempts for 1,872 yards and 27 scores. Elijah Outlaw has run for 1,139 yards on 92 carries (12.4 yards per carry) and scored 10 touchdowns. Isreal Powell has caught 33 passes, of which 22 were for TDs, for 797 yards.

East Bladen also won its final four games, including Friday’s 53-28 triumph at home against St. Pauls. The Eagles began the season 1-5. East Bladen has outscored its opponents 191-86 during its four-game win streak.

For East Bladen, Masion Brooks has run for 1,375 yards on 177 attempts and scored 18 touchdowns.

The winner of Friday’s game will play the winner between No. 6 West Craven and No. 27 Bunn.

Other Southeastern Athletic Conference teams to qualify for the playoffs are:

• No. 7 Clinton, while will host No. 26 Wilson Beddingfield.

• No. 20 St. Pauls, which will play at No. 13 Greene Central.

• No. 24 Midway, which will play at No. 9 East Carteret.
