East Bladen’s Eagles will travel to Four County Conference champion West Bladen Tuesday night in the opening round of the NCHSAA Class 2-A Play-offs.
Coach Ken Cross’ Eagles (10-13) made the play-offs as a Wild Card team and are seeded No. 29 in the Class 2-A East. Coach Travis Pait’s Knights are 20-4 and are the No. 4 seed in the East. As long as the Knights win they will be at home for their first 3 games.
Neither team has played since the Knights defeated the Eagles 61-49 in the regular season finale for both teams on Feb. 12. The winner of the East Bladen/West Bladen game will play the winner of the game between No. 13 East Duplin (11-11) and No. 20 Southwest Onslow (14-8).
