East Bladen’s cross-country team competed in the Four County Conference meet at Heide Trask Tuesday.

Marley Ketterer led the East Bladen women finishing in eleventh place with a time of 26:59.  Teammate Tatyiana Graham posted a time of 29:39 to claim nineteenth place.

East Bladen’s Ashton Magby recorded a time of 34:00 to finish in 24th place. Ty’asia Graham was in 30th place with a time of 37:15, and her teammate Kabarah Moore was right behind her in 31st place with a time of 40:26.

The Lady Eagles finished in fifth place in the meet and were only 4 points behind fourth-place Union.

Only two Eagles competed in the men’s meet. Michael McDuffie post the 34th best time of 26:57, and teammate Hunter Clark had the 38th best time of 28:17.

With only two contestants in the men’s meet, the Eagle men did not post a team score.

East Bladen Coach Wilson Boldin was pleased with his team’s performance this year saying, “We didn’t have any seniors and had five freshmen. We had a great turn-out this season, and we are really looking to be much better next year.”
