The East Bladen FFA Eagle 1 team competed in the Area 7 Envirothon competition on March 21, 2019. Out of 27 competing schools, the Eagle 1 team placed third overall.
They also received medals for first place in the Soils Division of the competition. The team is now eligible to advance to the state competition being held at Cedar Rock State Park on May 3 and 4, 2019.
