East Bladen’s Lady Eagles continue to be ranked No. 1 in the NCPreps.com/High School Media Class 2A State Poll that was released this week.
Coach Patty Evers’ club improved to 14-0 with their 64-21 victory at Heide Trask Wednesday night.
East Davidson (13-0) is ranked No. 2. Four County Conference foe Clinton (11-3) just missed the Top Ten by one vote.
The Midway boys are ranked No. 10 in the Class 2A Boys Poll. However the Raiders lost to Clinton and Wallace-Rose Hill this week to drop to 10-4.
The unbeaten Fairmont boys (9-0) missed the Top Ten by 3 votes. East Lincoln (10-0) is the No. 1 boys team in the rankings.
