All students at East Bladen High School have been evacuated safely to the school’s football field due to a fire alarm. Firefighters are on the scene along with School Superintendent, Dr. Robert Taylor.
Firefighters reached roof at East Bladen. Boiler smoke could be seen, but no signs of fire have been seen according to officials.
Elizabethtown, White Lake, and Lisbon Fire Departments are on the scene. Sheriff Jim McVicker is also on the scene. No one was harmed and no mention of property damage has been made. Students should be back in class by 11:35 am. More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
