While East Bladen High School in Elizabethtown is open as an evacuation shelter, staff at the school will accept donations such as clean, gently used clothing (particularly student uniforms), hygiene products and non-perishable food items, said Bladen County Schools Public Relations Director Valerie Newton.
Any food that needs to be refrigerated cannot be accepted. Donations can be dropped off all donations should be dropped off on Thursday or Friday from 10am to 2 pm at the Kinlaw Furniture Warehouse beside Bladen Crisis Center (across from the Elizabethtown Farmers Market).
