East Bladen’s Eagles will once again this season play in the Battle of the Carolinas Football Classic on Friday, August 12th at Lumberton’s High School’s Alton Brooks Stadium.
This will be the fifth annual Battle of the Carolinas scrimmage and Coach Robby Priest’s Eagles have played in all of them. East Bladen will battle Purnell Swett at 6 p.m. in the Classic’s second game.
Each game will be played on the full 100-yard field and will consist of two quarters. Four teams from South Carolina and six teams from North Carolina will participate.
Each school will receive 100 tickets at the discounted rate of $5 each. Tickets will be available at the gate for $7 each. Proceeds from the discounted tickets will go to the participating schools.

5 p.m. Fairmont vs. Lake View, SC
6 p.m. East Bladen vs. Purnell Swett
7 p.m. Red Springs vs. Latta, SC
8 p.m. Scotland vs. Dillon, SC
9 p.m. Lumberton vs. Marion, SC
