East Bladen’s Eagles moved up to No. 9 this week in NCPreps.com’s Class 2A football rankings. The Eagles entered the NC Preps poll at No. 10 a week ago after their season-opening 35-16 win over Clinton.
Coach Robby’s Priest’s Eagles also entered the Associated Press Class 2A poll this week at No. 10 after Friday’s 34-0 victory over North Brunswick.
Shelby remains at No. 1 in the NC Preps poll. Area foe Wallace-Rose Hill is ranked No. 5 by NC Preps and No. 6 in the AP poll.
