East Bladen retired Lacey Suggs’ No. 12 jersey Tuesday night after East Bladen’s girls victory over West Bladen. Suggs led the Eagles to 3 conference championships during her career, was named Conference Player of the Year 3 times and received All-State honors in 3 straight years.

“It is an honor to recognize Lacey’s accomplishments,” said East Bladen Coach Patty Evers. “She was a great student-athlete and worked hard in the classroom as well as on the court. I appreciate her tremendous dedication to get better at everything that she does.”
