East Bladen’s Lady Eagles will entertain North Pitt Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the opening round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Girls Soccer play-offs.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Lady Eagles are 15-4 on the season and are led by senior Justyna Gargala (25 goals; 15 assists), junior Hannah Devane (21 goals; 22 assists) and sophmore Ashley Hardin (10 goals and a whopping 39 assists).
Sophore Ting Lin has recorded 8 shutouts in goal for East Bladen and has a 12-4 record in goal.
North Pitt owns an 8-6-1 record and finished third in the Eastern Plains Conference. Junior Amanda Savage (16 goals; 7 assists), junior Brianna Kerns (11 goals) and junior Jasmine Villeda (6 assists) lead the Panthers.
Senior Tashada Joseph has 5 shutouts in goal for North Pitt and owns an 8-4-1 record.
