East Bladen and West Bladen tied for second-place in the Four County Conference Baseball Standings and both of them received Class 2A play-off berths. Opening round games are scheduled for Wednesday.
Coach Russell Priest’s Eagles (14-6) will host First Flight (12-8 in the their opening round game. East Bladen is the No. 7 seed in the Mid-East and First Flight is the No. 10 seed in the East.
The winner of the East Bladen/First Flight game will play the winner of the North Johnston (19-3)/Clinton (9-9) game in the second round.
Coach Kim Cain’s Knights (13-9) will travel to Dixon (15-7) for their opening round game. The Knights are the No. 9 seed in the Mid-East, and Dixon is the No. 8 seed in the East.
The winner of the West Bladen/Dixon game will play the winner of the South Granville (21-1)/Croatan (9-12) game in the second round.
