An issue with an electrical outlet led to a brief evacuation at Dublin School. “Principal Ms Cheshire did an excellent job getting everyone out,” said Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker. “Everything went well and all is back to normal” he added. Ken Clark of Bladen County Emergency Management said the cause of the evacuation was an issue with an electrical outlet. “I’m glad nothing happened,” said McVicker.
The Dublin Fire Department, Elizabethtown Fire Department, Bladenboro Fire Department, Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, NC Highway Patrol, and Bladen County EMS, and Bladen County Emergency Management all responded.
