Elizabethtown Christian Academy (ECA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mrs. Amy White Reeves as its new Head of School, effective June 13th, 2024. With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in education, Mrs. Reeves is poised to lead ECA into a new era of growth and excellence.

According to Johnathan Tatum, Co-Chair of the Elizabethtown Christian Academy Board of Directors, in an open letter, Mrs. Reeves brings a solid commitment to Christian-based education, coupled with a diverse professional background. Her journey in education, from her early years as a School Teacher to her most recent role as District Administrator for Instructional Technology, has equipped her with the skills and vision necessary to excel in her new position.

The ECA School Board of Directors unanimously agrees that Mrs. Reeves is the ideal candidate to lead the school forward. Her passion for education, unwavering faith, and clear vision for the future will undoubtedly benefit the students, staff, and the wider community.

Widely respected within the education community, Mrs. Reeves is known for her dedication and integrity. “I am thankful for the opportunity to join Elizabethtown Christian Academy as the Head of School,” Mrs. Reeves expressed. “I have prayed about this position, and I am excited to get started. God’s timing is amazing to me. I pray that God will give us guidance as we prepare and begin this journey as a team. I covet your prayers as I begin this adventure working with the children, staff, families, and community members as well as all stakeholders of ECA.”

As Mrs. Reeves prepares to embark on this new chapter, plans are underway for a social meet and greet to introduce her to the ECA community. Further details about this event will be communicated in due course.
