The Elizabethtown Christian Academy’s Jr. Beta Club participated in the United Way Days of Caring during the week of November 9-13. The club members created ornaments and cards for residents of a local extended care facility. The club was visited by Mrs. Staci Kinlaw, Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development, who explained the purpose of United Way of Bladen County.
She shared several examples of how groups and organizations benefit from the donations given to United Way.  She praised and thanked the Jr. Beta members for their willingness to volunteer to brighten the day of the residents of a local long term care facility.
