Spring is here and with it, there will be rain and humidity. The season is perfect for breeding the blood-sucking insects known as mosquitoes, according to Danny Littner with McDuffie Pest Control.
McDuffie Pest Control of Elizabethtown and Down East Pest Control of Bladenboro both have been seen spraying to rid Bladen County of the pests.
Citizens in Elizabethtown went to social media to discuss the matter. David Hall, a local business owner asked if the Town of Elizabethtown would be spraying for the biting insects.
Terri Dennison, Director of Communications with the Town of Elizabethtown states, “We are planning to spray: Public Works department is working it into their schedule now.”
