The Elizabethtown Town Council will meet tonight (Tuesday) to discuss the bid award for the airport taxiway project.
The Council is also expected to approve the fire district agreement with the county, make appointments to the Recreation Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment; approve the 2018-19 Budget Calendar, approve the DataTalk revenue agreement, and set a date and time for the town’s annual budget retreat.
The board will be asked to approve a budget amendment, tax releases and hear the monthly financial report. In addition, the board will be asked to declare three Renzor propane heaters as surplus along with “certain personal property.”
The board will consider the approval of donations of the surplus personal property pursuant to NC General Statute 160A-280.
The board will also conduct a Fire Captain’s Promotional Ceremony.
