The Elizabethtown Town Council will meet on Monday night and will conduct two public hearings.
Also, Tony Parrish will receive the ceremonial Oath of Office as Police Chief.
The first public hearing will be a zoning text amendment to remove article 5.3.3II Regulations of Special Use: New Commercial/Business Construction. The second public hearing will be for the board to hear a rezoning request from RA (Residential Agriculture) to B-C(Bypass Commercial). After the two hearings, the council will either approve or disapprove the requests.
The board will also consider whether or not to declare some items as surplus property and dispose of them.
The board will also mull a resolution to increase the loan amount for the downtown wastewater collection rehabilitation and replacement project.
The board will also mull a proposal from Holland Consultants, an audit contract from Thompson,Price, Scott, Adams and Company; a change order for the downtown sere rehabilitation project; proposals for Leinwand Park playground equipment and picnic shelter; a contract with Geological Resources for the work on Well No. 1.
The board will also consider appointments to the Elizabethtown Planning Board; a facade grant application for City Sandwich Shop; and receive the monthly financial report.
