A crash at the NC 87 Bypass and NC 87 Business intersection resulted in minor injuries on Thursday afternoon.
According to North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper A. Russ, Jamik Thresa Louis of Elizabethtown was attempting to cross the NC 87 Bypass when she failed the yield the right of way. Her vehicle was struck by a truck being driven westbound on the NC 87 Bypass by Billy Carroll Greene of Bladenboro.
Trooper Russ said Louis had two children in her vehicle and only minor injuries were reported. Louis was charged with failure to yield the right of way, said Trooper Russ.
