Elizabethtown Dixie Youth Baseball Opens Season

The 2023 Elizabethtown Dixie Youth Baseball season began Saturday with team pictures, an opening ceremony that recognized all teams and seven games in four age divisions.

Here are Saturday’s results:

MAJORS (12-and-under)
Braves, 5, Athletics 1
Cubs 10, Astros 1

MINORS (10-and-under)
Cardinals 12, Tigers 11
Twins 9, Dodgers 4

COACH-PITCH (8-and-under)
Pirates 9, Diamondbacks 7
Yankees 3, Royals 2

MODIFIED COACH-PITCH (6-and-under)
Marlins and Nationals played

Majors and Minors games are scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays and Coach-Pitch games are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays through early June at Leinwand Park.
