Spread the love

In 1990, the Elizabethtown Foxglove Garden Club began with twelve members. In 2021, the club now has twenty-five members. Over the previous three decades, Elizabethtown’s Garden Club has served the community and remained active, completing countless beautification projects for the town.

An eleven-foot-tall, fresh Frasier Fir Christmas tree was decorated by the club recently at Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown. According to Garden Club President, Dr. Cathy Gantz, the tree was decorated with all natural, gathered or handmade ornaments, and the skirt of the tree was adorned with beautiful red poinsettias, a perfect festive touch for the Christmas season.

Dr. Gantz stated, “This is the third beautification project for the town of Elizabethtown this year.”

Christmas is a great time of year to beautify the community. Thanks to the Garden Club for their contribution!
