willie_kingWillie Edward King of Martin Street in Elizabethtown was arrested Friday, Dec. 4 on drug charges after Elizabethtown police received a tip, interim Police Chief Kip Hester said.

Officers were told of a man selling crack cocaine and marijuana near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Dunham Street on Dec. 4, Hester said. When officers arrived, they found a man matching the description given. Crack cocaine and marijuana were found in the man’s pockets.

King, 29, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute marijuana and cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in Bladen County Jail under $10,000 bond.
