The year 2023 marks the 250th anniversary of Elizabethtown, NC. In commemoration of this event, several celebration events are scheduled throughout the year.
- Saturday, March 11th, 2023 – Founders Day. Celebrating years 1773-1823.
- Saturday, May 6th, 2023. Celebrating years 1824-1873.
- Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Celebrating years 1874-1923.
- Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. Celebrating years 1924-1974.
- And finally, Saturday, November 4th, 2023, in conjunction with Pork & Beats. Celebrating the last 50 years.
