Effective May 8 at 5pm, the Town of Elizabethtown is rescinding the current State of Emergency in response to the Governor’s Executive Order 138, that moves North Carolina into Phase I of reopening North Carolina, according to Terri Dennison, Director of Communications and Marketing for the Town of Elizabethtown.

The town offices will remain closed to the public, except for the drive-thru at Town Hall, according to Dennison’s announcement, with no date set for the offices to reopen to the public.
