RotaryThe Elizabethtown Rotary Club met on Wednesday and heard from Rotarian Michael Leinwand regarding various ways members can make up missed meetings.

Leinwand told the members in attendance that they can go to the Rotary website and either read an article or watch a video to make up a meeting. He said that through that content, folks can learn about other clubs, and other activities and learn about Rotary International.

Members can go to rotaryeclubone.com and follow the instructions to make up a missed meeting. On the website, Rotarians will find a host of interesting articles and videos regarding service projects, and what it means to be a Rotarian.  For example, one article is titled, “50 Things Every Rotarian Should Know.”

Leinwand said once you are done reading or watching the video, you simply click “request a make up” and follow the instructions. Once you complete the required information, your club’s secretary will be notified.

Leinwand said there other ways you can make up a meeting as well such as attending an Rotary event such as the upcoming 8K Run Walk to benefit the USO of NC.

The most important point, Rotarians should notify their club secretary when they make up a meeting.

The club also received an update regarding the upcoming 8K Trail Run, Walk to benefit USO of NC scheduled for Saturday, April 16. Registration for the event is still open. To register go to elizabethtownrotary8k.org.
