Sixteen teams participated in the Third Annual Elizabethtown Rotary Club golf tournament Friday afternoon at Vineyard Golf at Whiteville. The format was four-person Captain’s Choice. The proceeds from the tournament go toward scholarships for Bladen County students.

FIRST FLIGHT
First Place, Melvin’s Hamburgers (Blake Baysden, Jonathan Gooden, Luke Gooden and Carlton FLoyd) – 54
Second Place, Eddie White Insurance – 57
SECOND FLIGHT
First Place, Mike White Team (Mike White, John Dove, Bobby Davis and Terry Strickland) – 64
Second Place, Cathy and Jim Gantz Team – 64
The White team birdied No. 10 to win the scorecard playoff.
The Long Drive on No. 6 was won by Mark Mendell.
Closest to the pin on No. 12 was won by Blake Yandle.
