Rotary Prepares for Dictionary Distribution to Bladen County Students

In addition to welcoming Joe Melvin, the Elizabethtown Rotary is also preparing for an important community outreach initiative. Last week, Rotary members gathered during their weekly meeting to prepare dictionaries for distribution to Bladen County’s 3rd-grade students. This annual tradition allows Rotary members to directly engage with local schools and support young learners in a meaningful way.

The club is excited to visit the schools in the coming weeks and personally hand out the dictionaries to the students, reinforcing the importance of education and literacy in the community. The initiative is a small but impactful way to give back and invest in the future of Bladen County’s children.

The Elizabethtown Rotary Club continues to demonstrate its commitment to both local economic growth and community service, making a positive difference across the region.
