The Elizabethtown Town Council met virtually on Monday evening for their regular January meeting.
Council made quick work of several administrative matters on the agenda. Council approved the annual Roster of Certified Firefighters; approved the professional services agreement for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project with the E.L. Robinson Engineering firm; approved professional services contract for the Curtis L. Brown Jr. Field Runway and Apron pavement rehabilitation project with W.K. Dickson & Co.; and approved the monthly tax releases and financial report as presented.
Dane Rideout, town manager, welcomed new department heads. Steve Duffy will be heading the Public Works Department and Rusty Worley will be the Director of Planning and Code Enforcement.
Rideout has scheduled the Budget Retreat for March 15th.
