Elizabethtown Town Commissioners meet at 7 p.m. for their regular monthly meeting and at 12 noon for a work session.  Both meetings are held at Town Hall and both are open to the public.
Mike McIntyre, former Congressman, now an attorney representing the Poyner and Spruill law firm will address the noon work session.
A Public Hearing related to a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment related to the cemetery will be held at the evening meeting and depending on the hearing, action may be taken.
Other action relates to a request to consider approving a Resolution of Intent to merge with the Clarkton Housing Authority.
Still another resolution involves declaring a utility trailer and telephones as surplus property and allowing the Town Manager and Pubic Service Director to negotiate the private sale.
Other action involves amending an agreement for engineering services with W.K. Dickson and Co., Inc.  A couple of projects to be considered relate to a feasibility study of Lock and Dam #2 and to consider approval of the demolition and asbestos abatement bids for the former band building on Morehead Street.
Council is expected to consider appointing two members to the Elizabethtown Zoning Board of Adjustment and receiving the monthly financial report from Finance Director, Jay Leatherman.
