The Emereau: Bladen Charter School Elementary Spring Concert was held on Tuesday evening, April 2 at Bladen Community College. Executive Director of the school, Mrs. Carla Fisher welcomed the audience to the concert.

Musical Director, Mr. Quentin Lovette, introduced the evenings musical selections, the classes performing and the student conductors. He invited everyone in attendance to the middle school spring concert to be held at BCC on April 26.

Lovette also invited everyone to the full stage production of the Disney Mulan Jr. play held at Robeson Community College on May 16. He added all proceeds collected at each performance assists the musical arts program at Emereau: Bladen.

The elementary students were smiling with excitement as they sang one song per grade.

The Kindergarten class performed “Somewhere Out There” with solo performances by Carter DeVane and Branson Mercer. Koleigh Edwards was the Conductor of the class.

The first graders followed with, “Try Everything”. Amira Lee conducted the performance and Peyton Link and Cartier Chancey were the two soloists of the class.

The song, “You Will be Found” was performed by the second grade class with soloists Brooklynne Fell, Tenley Dowless, and Maylin McMichael. The Conductor of the class was Alyssa Chavis.

Next, was “I Believe” belted out by the third grade class with Josiah Benjamin, Rylie Sierra, Elyn Rice, David Morgan and Abigail Dicicco singing solo parts and Rex Register conducting the group.

The fourth graders held nothing back singing, “Never Enough” with Conductor Jade Hawkins leading the way. Tatum Allen and Jude Culbreth were the Soloists.

Last, but not least the fifth grade class gave an inspiring performance with the song, “You Raise Me Up”. Ashton Fell performed a solo part and Layla Lent served as the Conductor.
