Emereau: Bladen is pleased to announce that Mrs. Carla Fisher has been hired as the new Executive Director effective June 25, 2018.

Mrs. Fisher earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from North Carolina University at Wilmington, Masters in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University, and a Masters in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.

Carla has a total of 18 years of experience in education. Her most current position was Principal at Douglass Academy located in Wilmington, NC.

Mrs. Fisher is quoted as saying, “The choice to lead comes with a great responsibility to provide others with purpose, direction, and desire to carry out the vision of an organization.  I believe the single most important trait of leadership is to lead by example.  I value authenticity, integrity, respect, and making a difference.”

Mrs. Carla Fisher and her husband Craig reside in Whiteville and have three children, Nate , Dylan, and Tess. She is excited to be a part of the Emereau: Bladen team.
