After Hurricane Matthew’s destruction impacted Bladen County, the Elizabethtown Middle School Beta Club began a food drive as one of their Service Projects. Beta Club members asked the student body to donate canned goods, bottled water, pet food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. This food drive ended November 18 and over 500 canned goods, 10 cases of water, as well as other supplies were donated to the Bladen County United Way.
