Events for Bladen County Residents

Upcoming EventsThere will be plenty to see and do in Bladen County this weekend. On Saturday, March 17, the United Way of Bladen County will be having a fundraiser at the Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery. The event will begin at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. along with Jason Jackson and Randall Canady performing at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The joyous event will include live bands, face painting, carriage rides, corn hole tournament and, Sunset Slush. Also on Saturday, the East Bladen Booster Club will be hosting a fundraiser at the East Bladen High School in the cafeteria. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner and the auction will start at 7 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased through any of the East Bladen Booster Club and tickets will be collected on March 21.

This Sunday through Wednesday the Revival has been scheduled at the Friendship Baptist Church. Services on Sunday will begin at 11 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. On Monday the services will begin at 7 p.m. and will stay that way through Wednesday. REv. Warren Hill will be the guest speaker at the event and for more information call Rev. Gary McMillan at 910-876-1148.

Starting on March 16 through 18 the Southern Farm Days will be celebrating their 10th anniversary this year at the Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Homes. The event will be full of exciting activities for both young and old! It will begin at 9 a.m. each day.
